China’s first online electronic visa-free travel platform launched Wednesday, allowing employers and workers to use the online platform to conduct business online without having to travel to the country.
The Electronic Sports Technology Association, which is the Chinese counterpart to Electronic Gaming Association, said in a statement that the platform will allow foreign-owned companies to operate a Chinese-style virtual sports league in China.
The company said the platform allows foreign-based enterprises to organize and manage their own teams, while providing their own online gaming platform, the platform has been launched to offer a wide range of products and services.
China is a popular destination for tourists and expats who want to spend time in China and other Asian countries without leaving the mainland.
The platform has about 400 million users and is used by about 8 million companies, the statement said.
