Apple is bringing Apple Pay to the Apple TV, the company announced Tuesday, a move that will allow the $39.99 device to make and receive payments on a variety of digital devices and services.
Apple Pay will be available on Apple TV devices through the new iOS 11 update and through the Apple Pay app for iOS 11.
The new Apple Pay feature will also be available to the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, as well as the Mac and the iPad Mini.
The Apple TV will work with a variety for online purchases and payments, including Paypal, Amazon, Square, eBay, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
It also includes a “Mobile Payments Hub,” which will allow users to manage their online purchases, and the Apple Watch.
The Apple TV also supports Apple Pay through the $35 per year Apple TV subscription service.
